Retransmitting the below email to remind HAC members of the importance of the March 4th District/Precinct Meetings.  It is at this meeting that we will  elect Precinct & District Officers as well as delegates to County and State Conventions. We will also provide you information about upcoming Party activities.  This is also the start of the road if you want to run to be a delegate to represent your Presidential candidate and the state of Hawaii at the 2020 Democratic National Convention which will be held in Milwaukee on July 13-16.  Further details, including a description of the role and responsibilities of leadership positions can be found at the Democratic Party of Hawaii website at

Also, a reminder, our next general membership meeting takes place on March 18, 6:00 p.m., at the Democratic Party of Hawaii office, 627 South Street.  We shall be electing our new officers and directors for the Hawaiian Affairs Caucus.  The nomination deadline for the positions of President, 1VC, 2VC, Secretary, Treasurer, and two (2) At-Large Members from O’ahu County; one (1) At-Large Member from Hawaii County; One (1) At-Large Member from Maui County; and One (1) At-Large Member from Kauai County has been extended to March 18.  The nomination form is available at the HAC website,  Please read the HAC bylaws, also posted at our website, for a description of the duties and responsibilities of these positions.  Note:  Our bylaws provide that only members in good standing as of January 31, 2020 are eligible to vote in the election.  Main agenda topics will be an update of our legislative agenda, the elections, and the DPH Convention. Upcoming DPH Activities

Reminder that we are meeting this Wednesday, March 4th for the 2020 District/Precinct Meetings, doors open at 6:30 pm with meetings beginning at 7:00 pm. At these meetings we will be electing:

  • Precinct and District Officers &
  • State and County Delegates 

Bring your family, friends and neighbors as everyone will be able to register to vote and enroll as members of the Democratic Party of Hawai‘i (DPH) at the March 4, 2020 meetings. To help move things along anyone can print out and fill-in the forms in advance of the meeting by clicking here to download a voter registration form and click here to download the membership enrollment form for the DPH.

FREE Blue Bench Training

The National Democratic Training Committee is excited to partner with the Democratic Party of Hawai'i for a Blue Bench Training!

This is a FREE event, open to any Democrat interested in running for office, is staff on a campaign (or hopes to be), or for anyone within the local party infrastructure!

During the training day, there will be different audience groups Candidates, Campaign Staff, and Local Leaders. Each group will move through four 80 minute sessions covering different skills relevant to their audience in field, fundraising, communications, and digital strategy. These trainings are in-person only and because of this we will not be able to offer videoconference.
